Hello, three months ago I tapered off my Zoloft 100mg. I did a nice slow taper and felt great through the whole process. Suddenly in late July I started experiencing tingling in my head, pressure and a serious feeling of disconnect... since then my anxiety has been high and feelings of hopelessness have creeped in.

Is this a late withdrawal? These symptoms started about four weeks after stopping the med. Or is this a sign I need to get back in my meds. I was so thrilled to be off but am feeling like starting the Zoloft again .

I dropped my Zoloft 100mg within 3 weeks and now im being hammered with withdrawl syndrome, I was on it for 21 years. BAD IDEA.

If you were on it a long time even once a month might be to fast.

Its possible, consult your Dr/perscriber...i am tomorrow.

I’ve heard of withdrawals but never ones that are 1-2 months out.. I was on it for about 18 months. And I had such a great taper! Unfortunately I had to restart it this week in hopes that I’ll balance out soon. My symptoms were just too much.

Yes, my doctor said I should come down 50 mgs every 4-6 weeks after being on it so long.

The longer your on something the harder it is to wean off.

Hello,

drugs what can we say about them. It could be the withdrawl I have the same problem. Give it some more time and if no better feeling then ask the Doc.

Prayer helps and keep a journal of what your grateful for. Peace.

A year?! Holy cow. Unfortunately I started back up my Zoloft this week, the symptoms are just too much right now. I hate the process of titrating up

To my level too but I know eventually I’ll level out. I would still love to wean off at some point maybe when I have more tools in my belt to do so.
