Anxiety and High Blood Pressure

My primary care doctor wants to put me on high blood pressure medication because my anxiety has given me high blood pressure. I am working with a therapist and psychiatrist for my anxiety, But I am now pretty scared because I am anxious every day so I do not know how much the blood pressure medication will work. So I just have a fear of my life being cut short due to high blood pressure. Sorry for being redundant, I have mentioned this before. I just wanted support.

I hope it helps. I think it's worth it to try meditation and calming music too when you have some down time.
