It’s hard to have positive thoughts when we our worst enemy. We constantly criticize everything about us and what we do. It’s no wonder our thoughts our negative. We are the first person to put ourselves down. We live in shame or guilt with low self esteem, no love or self compassion for ourselves this impacts and can create those negative thoughts. We have unrealistic views of ourselves versus our reality.
I found a technique from a book and it suggested trying this:
Write down the negative thought your having in left side using “I” than on the right side write down sane negative thought using”You” For example.
“I am worthless”. “You are worthless “
Than read second one out loud. Might I add you can see how you take the power away from that thought and once again you begin not to believe those lies. Besides, if it’s not “I” than it cannot possibly be you who is the negative thought. First use the “I” than use the “You”. I personally say write it down or just say it. Whatever works for you. Guard your thoughts. What you focus on expands. Hope this helps someone with their negative feelings. My thoughts!
