Can't concentrate or grasp things

I can't concentrate on books at all. I have zero concentration, poor memory or mental capacity to understand things easily. This is costing my job, my academics andy life. I can't pass in medical exam because I can't concentrate or remember anything. All day i am lost in thoughts, either sleepy or too tired to start. I want to know if any of you are struggling with similar issues and what have you done to help it? Advice needed!

I'm sorry you are going through this, and so am I. It's really bad. I forget so many things too. My doctor thinks it's from depression, but I'm not sure it's only that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've gotten extra quiet too. ( I've always been rather quiet, but now it's even worse.
