Morning anxiety

The past few mornings I’ve woken up with anxiety but about nothing specific. It’s like my body is worried but not about any thoughts I’ve had that morning. I do get this when my anxiety has been bad, but I’m wondering if my hormones from my period this month are why it’s so bad.

Does anyone know about hormones related to your period throughout the day and maybe it’s heightened in the morning?

I dont know about the hormones bit you speak of but i do know how you mean you feel on a morning and you sort of feel frozen if that makes sense, i would highly suggest getting up force yourself to get up get ready and get your day going, it does get easier, and for those days with no success just keep trying x

Some days my anxiety is terrible like that, I do take into consideration my period because the week leading to my period I feel anxious and more emotional than usual so I wake up feeling how you described. I remind myself it’s temporary and it will pass

Oh no!! I had morning anxiety for two months and it caused be to have extreme body pain to the point where I had to go to the hospital multiple times and to get and endoscopy. I also started shaking when I woke up. I just relaxed and watched movies lol. Relaxing and forgetting about the things that cause you to have stress and anxiety will help a lot. Deep breathes, exercise, walks, yoga, relaxation, and if you do get stomach pain do these things everyday. I watched Christmas movies because it's chill and Christmas is something that makes me happy whatever time of the year!! You do you when it comes do relaxation.
