Dear Amanda sorry you are going through this horrible feeling I have been the same and It doesn’t seem to get any better I wake up every morning 3/4 am churning stomach Shakes then the crying starts imagine I have every illness going then fear takes a hold. I have tried acupuncture spent a fortune on therapist I read Claire Weekes books but still can’t find a solution to this constant torment I really hope we can find a solution to it because unless you suffer from it people don’t have a clue what turmoil you are going through sending you a huge virtual hug 🤗 and hope you start to feel better as the day goes on PM me when you feel up to it stay safe xx

Thank you mydogs this is just so terrible i have 3 children i have to look after the youngest is 3 and im realy struggling my husbsnd is great but i feel like im loosing it.

Sounds ridiculous but what started it i was having chest pains and the constant need to burp i ended up going hospital because i thought it was my heart they done tests and my heart was fine that i have acid reflux the meds they gave me worked for 2 weeks then stoped havnt had much chest ache since then but this frequent need to burp that hardly ever comes out is causing real bad anxiety sounds silly but im petrified its stomach cancer or some serious illness i cant get the what if thoughts out my head 😔 x

I have been going through this exact same thing. 3/4 am every single morning with upper abdominal pain and a wave of anxiety causing me to get so upset that I just cry for hours because I can’t get myself relaxed to go back to sleep. I can attest to that burping feeling because nothing is coming out it just causes so much discomfort in your stomach adding to what’s already there. I hope you find a remedy too. I do know going to any doctors they most likely will do a scope and see nothing to diagnose but our pain is still real. Our mind is connected to our stomach. I’ve been trying to do more breathing exercises, meditation, and trying to gain an appetite back. This is our journey to bettering ourselves and it’s so intimidating but every little step along the way makes a difference!

I hope it ends soon for us 😔 x

I am currently dealing with these same things. Your cortisol (stress hormone) is the highest in the morning preparing you for the day. Lately I’ve read that you need to make sure you eat protein in the morning. Also, you may want to get your cortisol levels tested. I haven’t done this yet, but have heard about it.
