I'm someone who has been struggling with anxiety and depression for a long time. My hope is to meet people who struggle the same way I do and to learn the tools to not suffer anymore.

Boost those seretonin levels. That's all I can say, and make sure your thyroid is working smoothly.

Make sure your eating enough tryptophan, which is what your body uses to make seretonin. Some fruits are high in tryptophan. Make sure you dont have any diseases like celiac that can deplete your seretonin and other neurotransmitters and cause depression/anxiety. A lot of vitamin deficiencies can cause depression/anxiety (magnesium, vitamin b6, b12, iron, calcium, vitamin d, selenium, etc, B6 is also important in the seretonin process). Also antidepressants work by making seretonin more available in your body.

Hi, I have found that Dr. Claire Weekes’ books are the best you will ever find for anxiety and depression. I have had a setback recently and I went onto “ audible “ and found that if you sign up for a free trial you can download 2 for free so I got “Hope and help for your nerves “ and Peace from nervous suffering “. They are an amazing help, she knows exactly how you feel. Please look for her works and good luck x

Thank you, I am doing fine, l feel that life is “mind over matter” most of the time, trying to come to terms and understand life, if that is at all possible. I always say that my glass is half full and filling, I find this helps.
