So today I get a new medication...Celexa....why am I so anxious about taking it??

I get anxious about taking new medications too. I think it’s because we WANT it to work and are hopeful and just want to get better. Which we will!

It’s does good for anxiety I took it for months only thing I had trouble with was dry mouth and sweating a lot my dr changed me to Effexor xr

Thanks. First night on it...small dose. Woke up this morning not feelin real good. But nothing I can't deal with. Slight side effects...agitation is the big one today. I need to chill and not get mad... but understand the effects of a new medicine. Thanks for your input.

No worries I know how it is it takes lots of trial and error find one that works well I liked the energy celexa gave just not the waking up in morning like I took a shower why my dr changed mine to Effexor but I’m 48 years old I’ve tried numerous meds over last few years
