I havent been sleeping well for awhile, i get anxiety thinking that i am damaging my health because i cant sleep for more than 5-7 hours straight without waking up. Is that normal?

5-7 hours of sleep would be great. I’m lucky if I get 5 and never can sleep without drugs.

I try to be thankful for the sleep I do get and not dwell on it. It is very hard to function with little sleep and the less we get the more you think about wanting it.

This is such a common issue even for people who have no other issues. I wish I had answers.

I take a blend of melatonin every night. I sometimes take ativan but not all the time. I wakeup atleast once a night. I guess i will try not to dwell on it its just hard.

I was taking Ambien and then Lunesta. They both made me have horrible anxiety the next day. Melatonin does nothing for me so I have been taking Xanex which I sleep the longest but still wake up

Early and then can’t go back to sleep.

All these drugs can create problems maybe more than solve.

I took Ambien. My husband had to fill me in the next morning on what I did. I took Zopiclone. My husband...well, you get the picture. No more sleep meds. for me.

I stopped using melatonin as it gives me a terrible headache for hours after I wake up. You too?

Nope never had a headache from taking melatonin, groggyness the next day sometimes

Mike, I wake up 5 - 8 times per night. I have come to terms with it best i can. We've been brain washed how much to sleep, what size food should be LARGE even if your stomach is not the size of a hamburger, your served the size. How many hours we have to work. How many days we have to work. What time we go to bed. How many hours kids must stay in school.

You get my message. We're brain washed by slave owners. Our only true job is to pay taxes, everything else is cream on top for the 1%

I live my own life dont let others aside from family influence it, but i do know quite a lot about health and facts and i think i need more sleep.

Yes my son is 27 now and he sleeps a solid 8 hours and always has. He's always been a straight A student, graduated A&M University with honors. I remember having to wake him up when he was little, to move himor whatever, and his eyes were black, no body home. He has had a few times had trouble but took melatonin gummies and they worked very well for him. I wish all the best ❤❤❤

Im 28 ive had sleeping issues on and off. I can function ok for the most part but am probably more fatigued than i should be for my age. I have been ttying a melatonin blend with l theanine and stuff

I have been 100% successful when I work my butt off. The harder i work the better i sleep.

I went to medical school, graduated 3rd in my class,,, still don't know how our mind body brain function. It's a magical factory. We live inn pollution, we drink and easy poison that corrupts every living cell. The body and brain were not intended to function at peak performance while living in polluted oxygen and polluted water environments. Just getting into our cars that have sat in sunshine causes more chemical reaction than humans should endure. It's very environmental my darling. Eat and drink as clean as possible. Clear your mind.
