I heard about this song that i find inspires hope. It was written by a priest, so if you arent into that, you may not get much out of it. The priest wrote it in response to the covid pandemic. My family is planning the funeral for my beloved dad that died of covid. It is so hard to get thru this time. I was raised Catholic and had always been a believer until stuff hit the fan and I got mad at everything. Then my spiritual life seemed empty and useless for years. Hearing this song has finally inspired some hope in me. It is called Shelter Me by Michael Joncas. I like the version by the St Olaf choir as it includes the lyrics. I really need the lyrics to get anything out of a song.
My Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your Precious Dad.
So sorry for what you're going through.
How is your Mother? Is she in Intensive Care? Please keep us posted.
Thank you for the song. It's a (sort of) version of Psalm 23 isn't it?
Have you ever heard " King of kings, Majesty" by Jarred Cooper. If you just Google " King of kings, Majesty" it will come up. I think you will like it.
