I can only speak of my experience with the off balance issue. I had never experienced it until I played that guitar game that came out when I was in high school. I went to take a step and stumbled all over as the room was warping and moving. I stopped playing it and had a vertigo experience in early adulthood out of no place. I went to check the mail and the entire room was spinning. I haven't had a new episode since my early adulthood one, I would say get checked unlike I have done or ask family if they have dealt with it or have a history.

Virtigo,

Is a fear of heights, however if you are rising from sitting or turn your head you may need to discuss that with your Doctor, it may be your ears need looking at, or rising quickly that can be caused by the blood not rising quick enough to the brain. Damage to joints in the neck can also cause problems. Your Doctor should be able to check various possibilities.

Because of above it can be linked to age especially when you fall down.

I suffer all above some caused by neck damage, blood pressure and dizziness when I turn my head, because of damage and Arthritis. I am seventy soon, so age can have an effect.

Phone your GP and make that appointment
