Advice please

Hi Everyone , I have just been prescribed Sertraline . I don't know anything about it . I know everything we take has side effects but there is a very long list for this one .

Has anybody taken it and did it help ? Thanks james

hi I hope you don't find to many side effects but most do give you some in the beginning I had one tablet and had a terrible reaction but that doesn't mean the same would happen with you.

I only had one tablet reverted back to my other ones and they did help for a period of time.its trial and error with all medication really.

Hi there,just wanted to share with you that I'm pretty sure this tablet increased my anxiety, It DOES not have this affect on everyone and may be just the antidepressant for you ,just something to keep in mind in case you have increased anxiety too and you don't know where it's coming from. I'm now on escitalopram(similar kind if medication often prescribed for deppression,as is Sertraline,and I'm finding it really good. No side effects so far and Ive been on it over a year and my deppression is very much under control,in fact pretty much happy most of the time. Hope the medication really helps,give it time,my deppression was so bad that I wouldn't be without them at the moment and I didn't think anything would work for me,like it was mind over matter but they definitely can help. Be kind and patient with yourself 🤗
