Happy Easter

Miss you a heck of a lot, Nan! Hope you guys health is better and that you're staying away from the pandemic. Sue and I send you big hugs and all the love we can spare! (a giant jet full express delivered just for you!)
I have news about the writing and publishing of poems and stories if you are still interested. Okay?
I am very interested. Unfortunately, my health has been unsteady for a while and I am unwilling to commit to any projects now.
Hubby is recovering nicely and has a few pain free days each week.
Our son in Alaska received his robotic leg last month, and now has a much freer life. He is 'stay at home', but able to work from home. He is a computer guru, so working from home to solve software problems is right up his alley.
The other kids are fine. One of our sons is an EMT so we do worry a lot about him, but he is good about following sanitizing guidelines. That is a great relief.
What are you two up to now? Doing a lot of gardening? Writing poetry? I'd love to hear all about it.
Glad to hear everything is going better Nan! Sue and I have becomes writer's extraordinaire in the past few months. Almost 6 months ago I was mysteriously invited from H/U to join a writing group called, 'All Poetry'. Someone sent me the link, & I was interested immediately.
I fell in love with it right away. About a month late, Sue joined me. She was slower to fall in love with it but, eventually has taken to it even better than me. She writes non stop when she's awake and has become a professional quality free style writer. She specializes in stuff about nature and about God.
All Poetry or AP as it's popularly called is free to join. Eventually we bought silver memberships and then moved them up to gold. For a free membership you may post 1 poem per each 2 other peoples poems that you comment on and like. Paid memberships do not have to do that.
At this point 5 moths later, we belong to a group that publishes your short stories, poems and haiku completely free. I am about have 12 of my poems published across the first 2 books this group is putting out. I have already had 2 poems published by a different groups on the site and 2 more of my poems have been selected for future books fro the same groups.
A few notes about AP. It is the largest poet group online, boasting more than 70,000 members world wide. Within the overall main group there are many smaller groups you can join. I belong to 54 such groups and Sue belongs to more than 30. There a re contests that enter constantly to hone your writing skills. Sue lives in these contests & absolutely loves them. It is the greatest, most wonderful gift we have ever received.
The person who sent me this link has never stepped forward but, what a blessed day that was. You could join too, Nan. You don't have to do anything you don't want to there/ Write as much or as little as you want. Join contests or don't. Stay free or buy a membership. It's all up to you. But it's a wonderful community and has completely replaced the stress I felt from H/U with an outlet for my favorite activity.
No it's not perfect either. Nothing is perfect. But, any of my friends who join will have the benefit of all my experience. Sue and I know about 85% of all of the most important facts about the site and can help any new members navigate the waters there. There is also a sister site for story writers (StoryWrite). It's not as good as AP but I post an occasional story there anyway.
Blessing, Nan. Sue and I send you all the love hugs, prayers and warm thoughts we are capable of! We have never forgotten you and you are still on our prayer list. You will be in our hearts forever. Keep getting better, my awesome friend!
