hi I feel for you its tough getting what you need our big stores are over 2 miles away and as soon as they open the shelves are cleared we have to rely on public transport and that makes it harder might pick up though now kids are off school but that means walking at 6am as we don't have public transport at that time.i had a list today and got nothing on it shopping wise apart from steamed veg.
OMG! What part of the country are you in that the stores are stripped clean? Supplies are down here in norCA but there is still plenty of food--just no TP, paper towels, and hand sanitizer. Sorry you have to go through this. It's hard. It's unlike anything I've experienced. Maybe order online groceries??
It’s happening everywhere. Shelves are bare here too. They can’t keep up with the high demands.
I understand. I tried getting food the other day after work and most items were gone (bread, pasta, frozen dinners/veggies, peanut butter, etc.). I just grabbed a few things which is challenging because I'm also trying to shop for my mom (she is over 65 and should not go out). I'm in OC California and I hear it's better to shop first thing in the morning. I thought my last resort could be food banks/churches. This is crazy!
