Who to trust, best to help

Had someone tell me 2 people that suffer with depression shouldnt be together. She said the two of them would never be happy together. I disagreed, i feel who better to understand what each of you is going through but eachother. Who better to trust than someone who feels like you do. The point isnt to be miserable together, but rather build each other up. I dont know maybe im wrong.

Oh you are so not wrong... I fell in love with my hubby at 15...we've now been married , 39 years( 61 & 62 now) and still in love... We both deal with depression... I have major anxiety issues also ~ he's been my rock as I've been his through the years....
