Sertraline

Has anyone been on sertraline and propranolol and found they feel better if they have forgotten to take the propranolol?

Hey!! I have been in this situation - two things about propranolol is that 1) when you stop taking it, you can get a high feeling, so if you feel really good then that’s why. 2) If you just feel generally better(not sick/etc) it’s because the medicine plays with your blood pressure a bit, so it’s very known to make people pass out, be nauseous, or feel just dazed and icky and sick and upset in the short term. So depending on what you mean by feeling good, this is what I know and have experienced. I hope this helps!! :))

Thanks for replying. I stopped paroxetine in July after 20 years and went onto sertraline and now been on 100mg for 23 weeks and 80mg propranolol for about 18 weeks to help with side effects. Around 13 weeks on 100mg sertraline started to feel much better but then a few weeks later started to get anxious, headaches and early morning anxiety. I first noticed after the brand was changed on the propranolol but chemists couldn’t get the same brand. Hasn’t really got better since but had started to notice got worse after taking propranolol so cut down to 40mg a few weeks ago and then stopped two days ago Did try other things before propranolol but they all made me feel worse so I am really hoping by stopping propranolol I will be able to stabilise on the sertraline. Do you take both and do you find they work on together
