Hello all, as someone who has tried various therapy techniques - this one was new to me. It's called Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) in which you exhaust your leg muscles with 7 brief exercises. Then lay on the floor with your hips spread, knees open, feet touching and gradually bring your knees together as they progressively tremble more and more. The idea behind it is that we are conditioned to hide our fear and thus store it in our bodies. The trembling allows us to release this fear from our tissues and nervous system. It sounds a little hokey but I quite enjoy it. There are several articles online and videos on you tube with precise instruction. Hope this is of interest to someone.
