Have you listened to some of Jim Carey's talks on YouTube? You should, he is a really interesting guy.

Yes, he’s pretty amazing. Also Michael Phelps has come out telling the world about his depression and is becoming quite an Advocate on Mental Health. I’m sure that’s on YouTube as well. ❤️

I had adhd (some type definitely) as kid in school. Also was smart enough to get great grades, and spent a lot of the time outside class because I was disruptive.

imho having a healthy concentration vs random in your head is actually better than being average and normal. And accepting your rushing ideas is also important. I personally feel perfectly fine that I can come up with almost endless stream of business ideas, jokes, things to talk, explain, philosophical insights etc.

It lets my brain feel comfortable and not "bug" me with these rushing ideas. I accept that I am what I am.

In return, my brain and hence mood is pleasant, and I can deliberately concentrate at will when problems needs solving. Of course it is great when problem is actually interesting, but I can concentrate even at things I don't understand or find interesting. It is my reward for allowing the brain to "shoot all its powder" when I have daydreaming/ rushing ideas.

Has worked pretty well thus far in life, relationships and overall. Learn the balance, learn the power of honesty towards your own mind and also the pleasure of self-discipline (e.g. when you would much rather drink a beer, you still get up and go to gym. You simply do, no matter what you think). These two modes will allow you to actually enjoy your adhd and use it for good.

adhd people who are outgoing and learned, actually easily trump almost anyone else in many many environments (parties, work, business). All you need to do is let it free, inspect what makes you feel and react and also learn on-demand concentration.
