So decided to go back on lexapro. Hate going to the doctor but after talking to my husband a lot I think it’s for the best. It’s hard for me to sleep when I’m on it but it does work for my depression. And after several months of going back and forth with my mood I’m sure this will help. Any advice would be welcome!!

That's fantastic! Have you considered asking for something in help you sleep? Trazodone worked for me. I like your choice friend.

I hope you feel better with it. Lexapro was helpful to bring up my baseline mood.

Is there anything else you take to help?

I recently switched to sertraline, and it’s helped me more than the lexapro. I haven’t had much success with Effexor, duloxetine, fluoxetine, and citalopram.

I take Lexapro. It works for me. I didn't even know that I suffered from depression. I knew I had anxiety but when I changed doctors, the new doctor recognized the depression as well and changed my med to Lexapro. It has made a great difference. It has greatly reduced my driving anxiety, and I feel so much better. There are some nights when I struggle sleeping but those aren't frequent.

Lexapro worked for me but I’m on Zoloft now. My husband takes lexapro. What a difference!! But I can understand the sleep issues. He doesn’t always sleep well. We take Clonopin for that and anxiety. There’s stuff over the counter you can take for sleep. But I’m glad you’re doing good on lexapro. It really is a good antidepressant!
