I know its hard to get motivated without someone to walk with. Walking with my loved ones is very theraputic for me. And I dont do well being alone. Have you ever tried taking a walk by yourself? It can be scary.... but a very peaceful experience. To me its like meditating.
I just wanted to jump on here and let you know you are not alone.
Hey! I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. When I lived on my own, it was a very therapeutic experience but I did miss having someone there. Not sure if you can have animals where you live, but if you can, maybe look into rescuing a dog! That's what I did. My therapist at the time put it this way. She said something along the lines of, she knows I feel alone and sad and like no one cares, and there are so many dogs in shelters that feel the same. I ended up rescuing a little puppy and it was the best choice I've ever made. It's cheesy but we saved each other. When I think no one loves me or cares about me, he's there to prove to me that a completely different species that has no idea what I'm saying can love me anyway. Good luck with your journey ❤️
I know it is difficult when we loose someone, but do not give up, you have not lost yourself. Can you have a dog? They need walks everyday and will give you lots of love. I live by myself and have for years & years, I love it, I do what I want, when I want. If I want to go for a walk, I do. I carry a stout stick and an alarm, I am not going to let my fear rule my life., go in the day light, to a park where there will be other people, probably walking, with children or dogs, that way you can also enjoy nature. If you lived close by I would go with you. Can you buy yourself an exercise bike, you could do as I do, watch a good program on TV or read something of interest, I do at least 5 miles when I ride it. Is anyone you work with interested in joining you, or if you are a church goer you may be able to find someone there, try some St.John's Wort for the depression, you can get it at Walmart or any drug store, it is not expensive. be sure and take your B Vitamins, they are good for the brain.
Try not to comfort eat, buy fruit and veg. you can eat raw, they will be handy, do not fry your foods, spoil yourself go and get a Subway sandwich, you can find low fat and low calorie there, that way you won't have to prepare a meal, and will not have dishes to do.
Hope this words are of help. Let us know how you are doing, we will love and support you.
We want you well, you are Not alone, you have us. Sending courage, peace, love and Big Hugs....Sprinkle 1.......
I agree with Sunshine, try walking alone. Either in silence, hearing and seeing things you may have missed if you were chatting with a partner. Or listen to a podcast, music, whatever interests you that day. It may be hard & a bit scary, but if you can do it on e, you’ll see it’s not so bad.
