Anxiety and sleep
I struggle with sleeping and concentrating on certain things because my brain is racing at (what feels like) 100 MPH. Have you ever tried Sleepy Time tea? Herbal tea and essential oils tend to calm me down. I bought a humidifier and a salt lamp to try to make myself feel more relaxed. Have you ever tried meditations or yoga? They take practice, but help so much in the long run. I like to do Yin yoga when I am feeling like my mind isn't allowing me to focus. It helps you be present and in the current moment. There are many types of yoga that have really helped me through rough times.
Another thing that really helps me is to write things down. Whether it be a small to do list, or just a free-write on how I am feeling.
I hope some of these suggestions help you like they have helped me. Wishing you the best
I have been there many times myself. I went many years before a Dr. finally prescribed medication for my Anxiety. When I would have a attack, could not eat or sleep. The vicious cycle would begin. Anxiety stops me in my tracks. Can not do anything but sit and suffer. But, since going on medication, I get relief. I only take it when I need it. It truly has saved my life. Many Drs. With prescribed a Antidepressant that works on Anxiety. But, that is not enough. I am sure just a Antidepressant for some many work. I needed the extra boost. You did not mention if you have Depression also or just Anxiety. Or if you are seeing a Dr. If you are not seeing a Dr. please make a appointment a.s.a.p. Many do not believe in taking meds for Depression or Anxiety, I am not one of them. I do not like taking pills, but when it comes to my afflictions, I have learned the very hard way, that I can not survive without medication. Please reach out to a professional. Positive vibes being sent your way. Hope I have help at least a wee bit.
I feel like that off and on. My doctor adjusted the dosage of one of the medications I take at bedtime to help me sleep. As for the poor concentration I take Ginko Biloba in the morning at that seems to help. Another thing that works for me when I can't concentrate is to literally stop whatever I'm doing and saying "re-set". Then a few deep breaths and go back to what I'm doing.
