I do think you have the right idea regarding the meaning of that particular scripture. We do get into habits of behavior and thinking which we aren't always aware of until there is some sort of consequence . Changing behavior is so difficult but it can be done if we want the change. As for the Bible, it is remarkable how well it denotes human behavior. We haven't changed a whole lot since those times. I am religious , but I have never felt the need to push it on someone else, nor do I think one religion is superior to another. So the remaining question for me is....one God? Why would there be only one? Pam
