i need an eating schedule

i need to develop a schedule of when to eat. i need to retrain my mind, i have been fearful of eating because i dont wanna get sick, i ate a salad at 1am and that was at least 8 hours after i ate my chik fila sandwich. i know eating a balanced healthy meal and eating on a time schedule will be better. How can I overcome the fear and anxiety of eating and do better. how do i tell my mind eating is good and it wont hurt me, how do i change this thing around?

Have you seen and taken in all the replies to your previous posts? What do you think will happen if you don't eat? You will get sick and could even die that's what! It's not an option whether to eat or not. Think of your body as a car - what happens when when it runs out petrol? Yes it stops. What happens when it runs out of oil? It will seize up and cause major damage to the engine which will need to be fixed.

Your body will seize up and like a car can cause irreparable damage which could be permanent. You can buy a new car but new bodies are harder to come by! x

Your posts and lists of what you eat often make my mouth water!

Do you ever take notice of the appetising aroma of your food before you’ve even taken a bite? Chips especially 😋.

Do you appreciate the fresh, healthy looking salad before you munch?

Do you notice the feel and the flavour of food in your mouth?

Do you notice the energy and satisfaction your diet gives you? Even that little cherry tomato on an empty tummy can give you a boost. Do you ever feel it?

I’m guessing you’re answers would be negative.

Slow down.

Slow down enough to experience all the above before you give full rein to your anxiety.

It’s a habit. It takes 90 days to change a habit apparently.

You sound really sensitive, but sensible cos you mention the things you know would help you.

You have made a start. Just carry on and little by little you will change this thing around for yourself.

Do you have someone you could invite to share a meal or a cuppa or maybe a smoothie...there’s a treat!

I asked my doctor for a referral to a dietician when my eating was an issue. As she rightly pointed out, a diary schedule is only the start. I needed to eat the best foods for my lifestyle and to include my therapst who worked on mind food for the catalyst of change. I worked at this for 8 weeks but then fell back to old ways for a while due to big life changing event. I had my diary and therapy homework to fall back on and managed to get back on track. I still a mind & food booster session because working on change is such hard work. It is so worth it to be trying even if it first you find change not as easy as you expect. Sorry about long answer but there are no shortcuts to making changes.

I have some bad habbits I need a schedule for as well. Just wanted to pop in here and let you know youre not alone🔆

Id say go off of when your feeling hungry, thirsty. Get some protein shakes or high in vitamin stuff. Drink plenty of fluid. The more hydrated you are, the better youll feel! If your having a lot of trouble set times/goals of how many calories you need and have 2 balanced meals then move to 3. With snacking if you want. Whatever fits your life style. I am no expert. I wish you well!
