Phil Collins may have...
That’s for sure. I have lost my love for life but I wear a fake smile every day.
Hello, RtN9... My smile muscles are tired at the end of each work-day for the same reason. I hope to be getting the book The Power of Now by Tolle. Other peeps on this site have said it helps. I want all of us to get back to feeling better soon.
Chris
Hi there,,,yes. I may get the book also. Don’t know about you, but I wasn’t always like this....used to be very happy until trauma struck 2 years ago. I am 61...had the perfect life. Now I struggle through each and every day.😥
Sorry about your experience with trauma. I'm 58 and just now working w/ a Dr to be able to sleep and another to talk to as I can't bring myself to talk about this feeling to family or friends. I spent my days off mostly watching mindless tv. We have got to be more proactive to get past this. I use to enjoy being around people and myself in just the past year...not so much now... Have a better day.. we'll catch up later.. Gotta go to work and share my fake smile.
I hope your struggles are minimal, today. My thoughts are with you...
The pain does grow with anxiety but it really can get better. With support things can improve. It is nice to find a song that sums up how you feel.
I just can't listen to THE WALL anymore...to poignant to my anx and dep...therepy w Drs this week.

It is great you have therapy. I hope it goes well.
