In reference to the above, what fuels your happiness and what is your " Happy Place ".I recently discovered my Happy Place at a Hotel based in Turkey , having said this I have been visiting Turkey since 2010, but this place remains a memorable in terms of being Happy for a week.
Can anyone relate and explain what fuels their happiness?

Yes my names have all represented me I was one nature lady and twinklystar I also love looking out at the night sky another happy place for me is doing that hence my name came from looking out one night loving the twinklystar next to the moon Venus the planet of love in astro terms 🌝
No I just always wanted a house that part of park walking straight out on it too when my gates done and great views I'm hoping to do a balcony one day a lot have them because of the views😊my happy place is also the room I can see park from.anotber reason I bought it
I was hoping to sell my rental flat this year and buy a home with a garden, however as my Mother is coming over for her cataract, I have decided to monitor my health and try to reduce stress as this seems to be causing some symptoms.
Yes where we live is vital it was my ambition to live over looking park my last house did but at other end the road was close and different style house garden this house is big enough to let some off if need, my first house was nice but overlooking houses I need to be near nature I hope you will find your dream home one day and take all this into consideration nature is the best thing for mental health 💚
It would seem stress is causing some post menopausal symtoms and being near nature really is a dream come true for many. I expect you have waited many years to attain your dream home and it was worth the wait.Everything in its own time
That's beautiful snow, yes I love my views and room in winter that enables me to see to sunsets and rises the moon and skies and get the sunlight I need to energised me and keep seasonal associated disorder at bay 😁
But an interesting post I put up to understand what makes house a home and how this bring comfort and real happiness .
I think I hade finally seen how overshadowed I have been by both of my parents and each one of us is entitled to find happiness.
As I have said , I will be visiting my Mother in a few days but deep down I now know how much she can trigger my anxiety and now I know better , hopefully I will be able to deal with this better .
I hope when you are with your mother you can try and brush off her harsh comments and foccus on your future plans and dreams and that it's just a short stay try and get some time away from her a walk out alone I'm off to bed now hope you sleep well 😊🌛
It's the people who make the harsh comments who have the problems not those that they are directed at!
How are you and Prince Pixie getting on?
Yes snow I had a vision of where I wanted to live I worked hard 6o hours a week at one point in a hot greenhouse even did car valeting in my 3oth to get on the property ladder my first house was lovely I couldn't afford one over looking park and near mam at that time a property boom price was forecast so I bought one quick, 3 half years later I was able to move near park and mam, happy there I achieved my dream mortgage free by age 4o,after adding value to my first house, my ultimate dream house and better part of park re views and quite road end, came 2o years later, I started out in a flat no garden not for me, then moved in with a boyfriend his council house I made it nice I loved the garden but he wasn't Mr right, and I had no intention of living there forever,so I worked hard set my goal, I do believe we can turn our life's around if we set our minds too it and my mainly positive attitude and well being is because of my location and surroundings, my intention has been to enlighten roukeya and others as you know from my park posts etc into finding comfort through spending time in the natural world and those that can't get out have found my photos especially during lockdown a comfort, im in bed no glasses so I hope this is readable lol, im so pleased you are happy in your home environment, I originally thougbt you was from sweeden tho lol 😂 it was lime heaven on earth when we stopped off at the pirianies sunny but thick snow and sunkissed fur trees what a sight, we had travelled on coach, as you know i love snow too 😁💛🌟
I have many happy places; but if I had to choose one, it would be Cornwall; a place I have known since I was 5. I know it like the back of my hand, even though I haven't been there for about 20 years now.
There was a sea lock where a canal used to be, and a small river, a outdoor seawater swimming pool, Golf course, surfboard hire, some gorgeous beaches with rockpools which I enjoyed scrambling over and catching fish in. A riding school where I used to hack out.
A good range of shops and a cinema which has now closed, lovely walks over the cliffs. At one time it had a railway hub, and I loved listening to the shunting engines first thing in the mornings, but, that too is now gone. Another place was a cove in a valley where there was a big flood 20 years ago.
A short drive along the coast there was a ruined castle on a promontery. and still further down the coast was a major town for Surfing.
