Does anyone have any tips for coming off of Lexapro? I tapered off and was on it for 20 years. I was tired of just “being”. I dealt with life, and I don’t want to deal with anyone or anything. Just getting though my work day is a struggle. I feel like I am not comfortable in my own skin. I am bawling at the drop of a hat. This sucks!!

I went off lexapro a few years ago but had to get back on. Do you feel like the lexapro was causing the feeling of just being? Maybe you just need to find something you love doing. Good luck either way

Hi there. My doctor switched my Lexapro for Zoloft. It took a week of half of Lexapro and then started on Zoloft. I understand that you want to quit lexapro and not to replace it with something else. Please don’t do it on your own. Work closely with your physician.
