Are you practicing Gratitude?

Today in answer to a question in one of the communities on HealthUnlocked, I was inspired to write this post to ask everyone, "Are you practicing gratitude?" Let others know in the comments below. The following is my comment inspiring this post: As a daily practice to guard my mind against depression, fear, and other bullies, I list (3) things for which I am grateful in the AM and (3) in the PM (as I fall asleep, works wonders for insomnia!). Today I wrote: This morning I am grateful I woke to breathe easy on my own. I am grateful I woke to the sweet sound of birds chirping outside my window. I am grateful I woke in the safety of my own bed, my rented apartment, in clean sheets that feel so good against my skin. Our lives are not easy all the time, but in a moment of gratitude, we can feel ease. As we practice moments of gratitude we will begin to feel more ease in our days, both in mind and body.
