Hi All. I'm discovering a new type of non-verbal communication which is body language so, I'm investigating and educating myself. Verbal communication is communication through words however, body language tells the truth about how we're actually feeling so when our words don't syncronize with our body language then this means we are out of sync with our integrity (our truth) meaning we're not saying what we're meaning /actually feeling. I'm one of those people who is out of sync with what I say around a lot of people especially my folks... I find it easier to express myself to myself so when I'm in front of people it becomes an entirely new experience. So, I'm investigating my own body language to help me find out about the truth of how i really feel. If there is anyone out there with more information on body language, please share? Thank you. ๐๐

Hello Hoski. I've missed you! I hope you're well! Xxx
Im doing well. My ticker is behaving, the depression is lifting, new antidepressant and therapy helping. My biggest elephant in the room is getting a new knee in sept, getting around is increasingly difficult but Im a huge chicken.... hoping I will be a good patient and smile thru the pain for a few mo! Thanks for asking๐
Look after your beautiful self. โ๏ธ๐
Thankyou! You as well๐
I wish I could give you some advice. I have that issue too sometimes OR I can be very expressive with my facial expressions as well. Very interesting topic. I'm not sure how you would be able to improve that skill...
Hi I find that one very difficult. I can read others body signals well ie if they are bored they have a glazed look in their eyes, or look around them. I am aware I do this too.
I am never sure what others pick up from mine though as quite a few people totally misunderstand what I am saying and meaning. Haven't figured that one out yet. If you do let me know please. x
Hello Angel. Another person that I've missed. I hope you're well. I actually downloaded a free pdf off Google after posting the message๐ - The definitive book of body language by Barbara and Allan Pease. I'm thoroughly enjoying it as it's so interesting. โ๏ธ๐
I think my face says volumes even though it is not intentional. My hubby says I make faces all the time, even when watching TV, lol
๐I have like a permanent scowl for anger and sadness so this book is really helping me understand myself.
My the sides of my mouth just naturally go down so I normally look sad even when Im not. If I was wealthy, I would get a little face lift and turn my frown upside down maybe, lol๐ฉ๐๐
Yeah, mine also go down because of sadness and pain but it's okay, were exactly who we're meant to be. ๐
