Natural treatment for anxiety

Anybody had any luck with natural treatment for severe anxiety/depression? I don’t have the money for a naturopath and wondering if anyone had any experience?

Yes I naturally treat my anxiety. It’s mostly diet. I do take a pill called mood but it’s all natural. Mostly you need to do a 3day detox of no dairy caffeine, carbs, processed foods and sugar. After 3 days slowly add in dairy if you need to and some carbs in minimal form. Stick to fruit vegetables and healthy protein nothing processed!

My depression is medicine resistant so I have been looking into alternative methods. I have started listening to binaural beats for depression on YouTube they are free and plenty to choose from. It does help on bad days to just relax take deep breaths and listen to the beats. Also I have started doing yoga at home and walking. This has given me some relief but I really have to push myself to make the effort to follow through. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I wanted to atleast give you something to try.

Take care of yourself I know depression makes it so hard to give ourselves the love and care we need.

I’ve found Diet, Exercise and sleep to start. Recently started essential oils in a diffuser, meditation (calm app) and ultimately surrender of all control and learning to trust yourself. I personally have grown in my faith which has helped in releasing control and trusting.

I’ve recently been looking into surrender and letting go of control lately and I know that is key! I haven’t figured it out yet. I’ve been looking up a lot of YouTube videos. I have the diet and exercise part down and help a lot, but I need something more

The only way I’ve learned to let go of control and truly surrender is through a strengthened faith and trust in God. Coming to know that my next breath is not promised, and in the moments of anxiety I have to just say “God I give this to you and whatever happens it’s your will.” And I have to consciously stop trying to control the situation to stop my anxiety but to just calm my spirit in Him.

I still have moments of anxiety and panic attack’s but this makes it easier and shorter episodes. They are coming less frequently now too!

Essential oils can help, you can make up roller bottles with fractionated coconut oil and apply directly to your wrists and you can defuse them in your room in a defuser.

My kids broke mine so I desperately need to get a new one, if you go into your chemist and speak with a pharmacist they can direct you to some natural over the counter tablets etc. yoga and meditation can also help, walking/exercise and spending 10-15 minutes a day in the sun to make sure you’re getting enough vitamin D.

Hi, I found chamomile and valerian teas help. Try lavender oils around the house too. Also learn how to meditate. All of these helped me. Hope it does for you too.

I have found like forest25 that valerian root helps. I take it in capsule form as well as vitamin b12. These two have helped me tremendously in the treatment of anxiety. I also took st johns wort for many years as a natural treatment for depression.

Exercise also helps, for me it was running. I have had panic attacks.. Which happen when there is too much adrenline coursing through your body running helps release that in a controlled way, but really any exercise is good.. Even getting out and taking a walk
