Sertraline and chamomile tea.

Hi all, anyone know of any interactions between Sertraline and chamomile tea? Regards.

I don't have that answer..why not call a pharmacy..I would think they would know for sure...best of luck! Only thing I know is chamomile is so easy to grow and better than store bought...I grow it...

Thank you! Phoned the pharmacy and they couldn't be sure. Didn't want to chance it.

Tomorrow call your Dr. then you should be able to get an answer...yea I wouldn't take any chance either!

Definately no interaction between these two things.

I've read in an anxiety treatment book that chamomile tea can thin the blood and so can sertraline so it's probably best not to overdo the chamomile especially if you have bleeding issues like I do with bruising easily. That's why you're not supposed to take aspirin with sertraline too much also

dmdela21, that is very true in that chamomile tea is just one of the foods or drinks for

those on blood thinners to be careful with. Good advice dmdela xx
