Does anyone on here suffer from 'air hunger' or that feeling that you can't catch your breath? I feel anxious about it all the time - if I can catch that satisfying breath I feel relieved but then worry about next time, what if I can't catch it next time, I'll panic and that wil make it worse. I've got myself into a cycle of anxiety

What is the thing you like to do the most? Who are the people you like being close to? Surround yourself with positive elements; and maybe you could work on your breathing by doing yoga or meditation (but not alone I would suggest at first). I know this feeling. You’re gonna be ok
Thanks for your reply. I've been doing some mindful meditation and tapping which have been calming. Also tried some online hypnotherapy last week which really relaxed me. I was a very active 69 year old until the middle of March when I had a breakdown/ meltdown due to stress I had been living with for quite a long time (and thought I was coping with!) and this breathing thing started then. I've barely left the house since then, scared I'm going to get breathless while I'm out and panic. I've just been in touch with a respiratory physio who deals with breathing pattern disorders so maybe I'll get some help there
