Propranolol

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone else takes beta blockers, specifically propranolol, and find they make them depressed the next day. I don't take them every day due to this reason, just when I really need to

My doctor once prescribed them for public speaking anxiety and they helped a lot. I only took them occasionally. They did make me feel tired.

They do make me feel a bit tired aswell but it's not too bad

Hiya!

I take propranolol twice a day for heart palpitations and it’s brilliant.i find I have no side effects at all.but I do have depression anyway so not really sure if it effects it or not x

Yes, I also have depression as well as anxiety but I haven't been too bad lately, to be honest. I just find that I always seem to feel depressed the day after taking them so try to take them as little as possible

I take 100mg of atenolol daily. Doesn't make me depressed at all. And keeps my heart rate very steady...
