Hey Darknlovely,

I'm really sorry to hear of all this distress in your life, but know you're in a place where many are suffering just like you. It really sounds like everything you have going on is working together: stress, your mind, feeling bad, and anxiety. They all work together and it can be overwhelming. Thankfully, there is a lot that can be done without medication if this isn't something that is a huge burden. If it is and you're suffering daily and haven't tried therapy, you may want to try your doctor and also a counselor.

In the meantime, the best thing you can do is to take things one thing at a time. Try to multitask less if you're taking on too much at one time. If future events, plans, ideas, or so on, get to be too much, take a time out for yourself. Deep breathing techniques (aka belly breathing) can make you feel less anxious and stressed. Spending just five to ten minutes with mindfulness exercises (you can find these on YouTube or there are tons of apps on phones...search "mindfulness" "anxiety") can also help. They take a lot from one another, so it's kind of the same thing. No matter what, this will help you feel better, less stressed, and less anxious.

Once you reduce all of these things, I would suggest trying to make (as best as you can) things simpler in your life. Control only what you can and try to prepare yourself ahead of time (pack a lunch earlier, head to bed earlier, or whatever has you racing to catch up) if at all possible. That all said, some stress is normal in our lives and we must learn to cope with it, but we can make the coping easier by reducing how stressed we are. CBT type therapies are very helpful by helping you adjust to your situations. There are many good books if you don't want to see a therapist (who usually help you work through a situation in the CBT manner).

I know all of this is so much easier said than done. I can attest, no matter how much I say these things and do these things, it doesn't completely solve the problem, BUT things are easier to deal with and coping with the situations at hand bring down the bad feelings, stress, and anxiety. I hope you know that everything will be fine and that just making some minor changes can bring you major results over time. You did great coming here to tell us about your struggle and support is another great form of self-therapy. Try to relax for now, be kind to yourself, and know that you always have a place to come talk about things without judgement here. Feel better and take care. If there's anything else I can do to help, please feel free to ask!
