I actually feel mine towards the evening (I work overnights....so no surprise) when I'm preparing to be busy getting ready for work. It's really uncomfortable, so I do my best now to prepare as much as I can for it. I think that could help you. If you're an aromatherapy type person, having a diffuser or a spray for your pillow could possibly give you a pick-me-up to relax in the morning. I don't know if you wake up slowly or on the run, but maybe you could give yourself a little time in the morning in prep to wake up, meditate/mindfulness session/deep breathing as be in a better situation anxiety wise. I find that the more we give anxiety an assigned time, it enjoys it. I know it's harder to prepare yourself for an attack when you wake...and BOOM. Not sure if you were looking for tips anyway.
Sorry you wake this way every morning. I know that's exhausting, terrible, and might make sleep difficult. I know there A LOT of people with morning anxiety and I can only think it's the body's natural "up and at it" stress hormone release to get the body revved up...whether we want it or not. Knowing when my anxiety is going to hit harder than usual, I absolutely sympathize and hope it fades with some time. Best of luck!
