Today i am supose to clean my room, because im moving out.
but i seem unable to get out of bed, its not that im ill, its just i dont know...
my mind comes up with a ton of irellevant timewasting stuff todo instead, and the felling of being stuck in bed is dreadfull.
i think that its because im terrified of moving. i am finally getting away from this prison... but i dont know what is to come, im sure that change cant be worse than being stuck. but the uncertanty is killing me.
i am terrifid of what is to come...

fear of the unknown is an odd thing.....even when we think we are ready for change because it's supposed to be a good thing....sometimes our head is paralysed by the fear of 'what if's'......it's just normal for most, but those of us who have anxiety or depression, we are very effected by change....and often we will stay in a situation that we know because we are uncomfortably comfortable with with what we can expect than with what we don't know. Try to focus on what you want out of this change.... try to put all the positives this move is going to offer you .... take the time you need to if you can, but tentatively give yourself small goals.....packing boxes.....etc.
That is such a well explained point that is exactly how it can feel "we will stay in a situation that we know because we are uncomfortably comfortable with with what we can expect than with what we don't know. " thank you for sharing.
1. Actions create thoughts. So start doing and energy will appear. Trust your body, it is a bio-mechanical machine, it will redirect energy to aid you. Repeat until it adjusts to always having energy.
2. You need a vision or an aim why you are doing it all. Look deep inside and decide. Remember that having an aim also includes having certain methods to achieve most effective relaxation and self-motivation.
3. Start and go step by step. People often get overwhelmed by a mountain of possible tasks they will face if they pick up any new thing, that they rather stop (and later again regret they never did anything). What is the least thing you can do? Do that. then do next one. etc.
