Feeling kinda down this morning. Need support.

I don’t know why I feel kind of down this morning. Could be pms. I think that’s what it is. Since my daughter was born six months ago, I’ve been having mood go down prior to periods. Didn’t affect me as much prior to her birth. Perhaps due to weather too. Weather is very cloudy this morning.

Supportive words please.

Hi Dolphin, I get that all the time. I find that mornings and evenings are the worst times for depression as you are not very busy and have time to think. PMS also affects my moods and makes me feel much more depressed than I am normally.

As soon as you are feeling this way try to get out of the house and keep yourself busy. Maybe take your daughter to the park or spend some time with her. Another thing you could try is making up a schedule before you go to bed of what things you will do tomorrow and what time you will do them. This gave me a sense of purpose and urgency instead of dwelling on the way I was feeling.

You can get through this, I did and I am not the strongest person. I’m rooting for you ❤️

You're very strong for reaching out when you're feeling down. The weather where I am is also sucky. I'm cutting myself some slack and binge watching comedies on Netflix. Anything to make me laugh and not cry. Perhaps you can take a break and do something that makes you feel good and helps you laugh. As they say, "laughter is the best medicine." Have a great day and sending you positive vibes.

Like others have said, mornings can be the worst time for our symptoms. I've experienced it repeatedly but have also learned that a bad morning doesn't usually mean a bad day. It lifts - sometimes at a noticeable time every day. If I'm in a bad way early, it usually lifts a bit around 10AM - which has to mean that it's just a chemical cycle that I'm dealing with. Know that it will pass and that lots of us go through the same thing sometimes!
