Exhausted=anxiety
Yes, especially when I'm sleepy. My eyes will start to close by themselves, and then I get this feeling like I've been pushed off a cliff, then snap out of it with a jolt. Over and over again. I hate being at work when I'm sleepy.
vp, I can understand that. It's almost an off feeling because we are so use
to being wound up. It's not unusual xx
Sometimes yes
Yes. I work 12 hour days & near the end of the shift I start getting really depressed & agitated.
Absolutely! Especially when I start to think of all the things I still need to do but my body/mind just feels on empty. It can be overwhelming. Hoping you get some good rest to help you feel at ease.
Hi Elliot I have a sleep disorder so have to take a sleeping tablet or I'm awake all night.
I usually go to bed as late as I can, about 11pm then I get a good 7 hours a night. I have hot milk with chocolate, and this helps me sleep. Some say it is an old wives tale but it has natural opioids in it from Uk breeds of cows. Have been reading some foods eaten before you go to sleep can help you sleep as they contain tryptophan which encourages sleep hormones melatonin and serotonin. These are eggs poultry and dairy and meat. When mixed with carbohydrates these foods encourage the sleep hormones to activate. Cheese and cream crackers, an egg, meat, chicken, sandwiches with some milk, can all help sleep.
How's your cat? Foxy has been out side in warm weather. It's great to see her running around like a young cat.
Yup, this is me. It always seems that I'm anxious and tired at the same time. I don't know how to fix it. Any thoughts or suggestions? Anyone?
Those cherries sound great with lavender essential oils. I have dairy egg and multigrain intolerance, but I can have lactase free milk. I tried coconut milk and a brand of soy milk and it was fine. Protein with the carbohydrate which helps produce tryptophan so guess nut and soy protein or whey protein would be helpful to help sleep. I don't know if there is protein in almond milk and soy milk.
As long as I sleep my anxiety levels reduce. Turning off your bedroom helps melatonin. If you wake up in the morning feeling anxious it might be due to night starvation so a cereal bar or a snack might help your sleep. Thanks for info.
