I had my first panic attack yesterday

I had my first panic attack yesterday. At least I think it was my first. I was struggling so much right now. Wife wants a divorce and is forcing the sale of my home. I’m losing my hearing which is important to my job. I’m 58 years old and I’m not sure I can find any work anymore. I thought about suicide but it would destroy my daughters life so I can’t do that. Feel so trapped and alone.

You have a lot of stress going on right now which needs to be addressed

by your doctor. Nothing, Nothing at all is ever worth giving your life up for.

You are not alone as you will find out when talking with others on this site.

Life can sometimes hand us issues that seem overwhelming. What makes us

feel trapped is the not knowing what comes next. Anticipation of the future

will bring about stress and symptoms like you would never believe.

Things happen for a reason at any time of our lives. Finding answers will

allow us to move forward and not stay stuck.

I'm sorry that your wife chose divorce as a solution and is selling your home. Big

stressors for sure. Your hearing is a medical issue that needs to be taken care of

by a specialist who may be able to offer you some options. Putting aside those

stressors, you have a shining light in your corner. Your Daughter

First you must take care of yourself both physically and mentally so that you can be

there for your daughter. You are not alone. We will help support you the best we

can from our own experiences in life. Never give up. I'm glad you reached out to

us, you have taken the first step forward. My best to you. x
