It's because you become anxious, suddenly your sweat glands can go into overdrive. When sometimes I'm driving and there's a near miss (always other persons fault of course) the windows mist up. That's why. So relax, this symptom is not a big deal. Concentrate on solving the causes of your anxiety and your anxious state not the symptoms that flow from it. When you recover your quiet mind all the symptoms of anxiety will disperse.

Veelala, just because you don't feel anxious doesn't mean you're not experiencing anxiety. If I take my blood pressure at home it's fine. But if I have it taken by a doctor it's off the Richter scale even though I don't feel the least bit anxious. I asked my doctor why that was and that's what he told me: just because you don't feel anxious doesn't mean your nervous system is no longer sensitised.

Your sweats are a symptom of anxiety, they will do you no harm, nor will any other symptoms of anxiety. It's just your over sensitive nervous system is on the blink sending out false messages.

Just accept them for the time being no matter how unsettling they are. Accept them for the moment and you will feel no fear of them. Then your recovery will begin if you truly accept all your symptoms.

Oh ok I also have fibromyalgia So my nerves are all over the place

Could it be hormonal? How old are you? Female?

Well it's about time for premenopause which could explain it. Get blood work done and take hormones if necessary.

Sounds like hot flashes to me. I got them randomly all through the day during the years right before and after menopause.

when your mind starts to panic, it takes 3 seconds for that message to get to other parts of your body. For some reason, it is your sweat glands. I'd ask your doctor to make sure there is nothing physically wrong, just to be sure. If not, then you need a therapist that can teach you CBT techniques. Good luck!
