Hey, I’ve had that problem before. Is it just spotting? What color is it? Could you possibly be pregnant? I was spotting with both of my pregnancies. I would definitely go to your doctor. I’m here if you need me. Xoxoxo

Hi it varies in colour yes it’s just spotting and it happens in between every period about 4 times now. So it’s not because I’m pregnant x
Hey, I would totally recommend that you see your doctor. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I know I would be worried too. Back when I was a teenager, I had a period for 6 weeks. It was really worrisome. I hope that you are okay. Xoxoxo

I’ve been to the doctors before but they just say it’s hormonal even though it’s happening back to back now. My periods are normal though, I am not allowed a smear test because I’m only 19 but can’t help but worry it’s cancer
Oh wow. You must not be in the US. Are you in the UK? We are able to have Pap smears around the age of 16, I believe. That’s when I had my first one, because I started taking birth control to help my periods become regular. How old do you have to be? 21?

I’m in the uk x
Oh, goodness. I’m sorry. I can imagine you’re scared & not being able to have that done to ease your mind would be difficult. Maybe you could get a second opinion? I know I’m not helping too much, but I am trying. I’m sorry. Xoxo

I have been to the doctors today and had an examination of my cervix, she said it looks to her like the cause of the bleeding is what is called an ectropion, it is where the cervix is inflamed and raw. However I looked on google and it says that an ectropion can look exactly like cervical cancer
When we have a symptom there are no age limits.
Don't let previous bad experience at the GPs practice, intimidate you or put you off going back with another concern.
Is there a friend or family member who could go with you for moral support?
Keep making appointments with GPs till one of them refers you to Gynaecologist or at least takes some tests. How many female GPs are there? Is one more approachable?
Have you considered putting a post on Women's Health forum on HealthUnlocked?
Have you any pain?
Any other symptoms?
Any possibility of pregnancy (despite being regular)?
Have you been under any new stress lately?
