From DEEP DEPRESSION to MANIC PHASE

I went from staying under the covers Day and Night...Night and Day to a total 180 Degree turn. And this is typical of my BiPolar Depression. I'm also gaining back some weight that I had lost. I feel its ok. Because it is winter and I really don't find being skeleton-like attractive. I do have some physical issues in addition to my psychiatric diagnosis. I don't live in the ideal situation. I live with two other women with severe mental issues. This often causes me to be irritable and even paranoid. I'm getting older and I like my quiet space.... Which I'm not getting in this residential "home". I've lived here for 20 years and been through various roommates. But these two, ESPECIALLY the one that rooms right next to me----I just can't take MOST of the time!

I'm glad that you are in a residential home. Talk to whoever is in charge about your mania right now and your thoughts about your roommates. It makes sense that you would be much more irritated while in a manic state. I'm glad you posted here. Now it's time to talk to someone that can physically help you. We are good cheerleaders. So go, Friendly! You have lived with this for some time and I bet you know what you need to do. I know you can do it!
