Hello im 29 year old with a son and 3 step children. For the past 4 year i have been getting worse and worse it takes me all my efforts just to clean and make sure food on the table. I call in sick to work very often. And when i do i feel worse about myself but im just so tired all the time. I sleep like 16 hours a day and the rest of the day i'm weak and tired. I dont know what to do i use to be a fun mom trying new things all the time and ive lost myself. And it seems noone can help me

Hi 😊. Have you been checked for any underlining diseases, anemia, low b12 to cause the tiredness? Or is it caused by the depression and anxiety? I feel tired a lot too. I have an autoimmune disease, low B12 so I get shots, and depression.... all that make me tired. Not to mention the side effects of medication that cause drowsiness! So when I’m tired, I sleep. 16 hours is a lot. I know sleeping too much can make you more tired. I try my hardest to stick to a “bedtime”. My body functions better when it’s on a schedule. Too much or too little sleep throws me out of whack, easier said than done 🤨. I’m sorry you feel lost, I feel that way too. I hope you can find an end to your exhaustion 🤗
Hi. When was the last time you had a physical? I agree with finallyfree 0210. The first step is to rule out any physical cause. If that's ruled out, stress could be causing mild depression and sleeping a lot could be a means to escape it. And, if you are doing a majority of the caretaking of your family, that may need to be addressed as a possible source of your exhaustion. Best of luck and keep in touch.
