Finally most of side effects from Lexapro have subsided. Just a few gi issues not bad. Back to my “normal “ high level of anxiety and depression. I just wondered if any one else deals with the following—vision problems and sore eye muscles, exercise making anxiety worse and an aversion to noise esp tv. Sometimes I can’t stand even having it on at all. I can tolerate music on the radio if its quiet. My eyes seem to bother me more in the afternoon. Don’t like bright light. Constantly putting glasses off and on. Exercise seems to rev up my anxiety for quite a while. Weird!

Hi Spinner, I'm glad most of the side effects from Lexapro have subsided. My eyes

are very sensitive to light and can ache a little. I get blurry eyed when under stress

such as going to the doctor or dentist but on the way home it all clears up. The eye

muscles are effected by our anxiety. I don't care for loud continuous sounds or a lot

of people talking at once. During the holidays with people visiting and hearing the

continuous talking, I wanted to just find my quiet place and breathe. :)

Exercise doesn't really bother me except for the fact I have a tendency to hold my

breath at times which then does activate my anxiety.

I hope you continue doing better and better on your medication. It's a good med. xx

Good to know someone else has these weird side effects. I don’t feel so alone. Not happy for you tho but at least I can sympathize ! Thinking back it may not have been the exercise but the noise. I was using a snowblower at the time. It must have rattled my cage

I have trouble with gatherings too. I can’t wait to get away
