So I had some group socializing recently and always seem to come away from it feeling horrible. I have general/social anxiety and becomes really noticeable when I am in groups. I become so nervous and focused on behaving normally, that I overcompensate and make a fool of myself in social situations. For example, I try to joke or make conversation, only to monopolize the conversation, or become overly animated almost/ immature in my mannerism, and feel as though I scare others away. Any tips on websites that teach proper social etteique or exercises on this? It is especially bad with dating and I usually end up being rude and don't mean to. Thanks
