SSRI - Time to Work

I keep hearing 6 to 8 weeks. I was started on a low dose then a full dose. Is it 6 to 8 weeks from the full dose? It’s been 6 weeks since the starter dose and 4 weeks since the full dose. It’s Lexapro

Hi MidwestAnxiety , I was on Lexapro for almost 7 years . For me it worked in couple weeks ! Do you mind sharing your dose ?

20 mg.

I started with 10 mg for 2 weeks than I took 20 mg after that . Every person is different ! I actually had to go up to 30 mg because I was still having anxiety and panic attacks. You can always call your doctor and make an appointment to discuss how you are feeling !
