Venlafaxine (Effexor) & Decapeptyl

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has any experience of having a Decapeptyl injection alongside taking Venlafaxine. I am petrified that the Decapeptyl is going to totally screw up my anxiety & depression, I have also been prescribed HRT to take alongside whilst I wait for a hysterectomy.

I would really appreciate anyone’s experiences good or bad.

I don't have any experience with Decapeptyl but I wanted to pipe up since no one else replied yet. I did take effexor for a while. I would just say to discuss your concerns with your doctor. If they think the benefits of the medication outweigh the risks, then proceed with caution. Then monitor yourself, you have any sudden mood changes reach out to the doc right away.
