Has anyone ever suffered from sexual performance anxiety due to depression and anxiety?

I can’t say that I have, but I can imagine it’s not easy to deal with that either.

If it’s effecting your life long term, have you ever thought about maybe seeing a therapist about it??? Xoxoxo

I went through a bad break up back in March. Finally started dating again in October. She ended things a few days ago. She didn't directly say it but I'm sure it was because of my performance anxiety.

I want sex. I'll be in the mood mentality but physically nothing happens. Its extremely embarrassing when things are getting hot and heavy and then I can't perform.

Its happened many times to the point that I avoid sex because I can feel the anxiety coming on.

This has affected many relationships. I'm tired of being lonely but I know no one wants a sexless relationship.

I hope this makes more sense.

It does make so much sense. I think there’s a forum on here specifically for men’s health that deals with issues like that, Incase you don’t find answers on this particular forum.

Your relationship doesn't have to be sexless..just not penetrate sex. I'm sure that there's some women out there who wouldn't mind that

Yes I have all my life. I have used Viagra until I felt comfortable with the woman.

The depression can do it, and the meds can do it, too. Also alcohol.

Sometimes i would not take my evening (antidepressant) dose until after I was, ah, done with everything else I was gonna do that evening.

you can buy it on-line without seeing a doctor. you answer a couple questions (have you ever had a heart attack?) type in your credit card and boom. Comes in the mail and your back in the saddle.

Viagra. It's not just for old guys any more.
