does anyone have problems with chronic bad breath and is there any easy solutions? It’s hard sticking to a routine because of depression. I do try to brush and floss twice a day. I did order SmartMouth mouthwash. It’s just humiliating. Sad feeling if you get a neg reaction to your breath. Thanks for listening.

I used a mouthwash recommended by my dentist. It was a medicated one. It did wonders. But I don't remember the name... maybe you could check with your gp or dentist?

Remember - a reaction was just a reaction on that day, and was not an indication of the degree of bad breath either. Good luck trying what has been suggested.

Try to gargle with Listerine after brushing your teeth. I feel that’s the strongest mouth wash for bad breath. Also, you can use a scraper for your tongue and they have some at Target and Walmart for cheap. Plus, brushing, flossing and regular check ups at the Dentist will help. Keep mints and gum in mind for when you need a little extra help or don’t have time. Hope this help!

My meds cause dry mouth which causes bad breath. You might try Biotene - it is supposed to be real good for dry mouth. Not sure how effective it is for bad breath though, but might be worth a try. Also chewing gum might help.

My mouth is so dry also Stippler. I do use Biotene mouth wash, they also have it in spray

as well as gum. Good product no alcohol which tends to dry mouth more. About the bad

breath, that may need to be addressed by your dentist. :) xx

Have you heard of Xylimelts? These are tan "discs" that you attach to your gums through suctioning. They work by stimulating saliva production. You can buy them at the pharmacy. They are for dry mouth, but I assume bad breath is caused by dry mouth?

my daughter has such an issue with bad breath. When she brushes she brushes her gums, and uses a tongue scrapper. Put your toothbrush in mouthwash after in case it’s holding bacteria. She uses a mouthwash called thera breath. It’s possible her issues come from her retainer for her teeth and so she soaks it in denture tablets. R

There’s an ingredient in many toothpaste that causes dry mouth, you’d have to look it up.

Gum with xylitol they say is best for dry mouth. Biotin never worked for me.

Chlorophyll is good for bo, would make sense that it would help bad breath also.

I use 1/2 table spoon table salt dissolved in water and then gargle with that twice a day.. it works very efficiently for me and my family.

You can try for a day or two and see the results
