I feel like something is in my throat. I woke up this morning (unstressed) having this feeling. It feels like something is there and its bothersome. I'm concerned about this feeling because it goes away, then it comes back. I been drinking water, tea, and eating regularly and the feeling is still there. It scares me. Please help.
I think this is an issue for the doctor. Only you can decide how urgent it is, that is, whether you need to head to the ER. Keep in touch so we'll know how you are doing.
So my doctor told me a few weeks ago I had an abnormal thyroid. He wanted to do more blood work so I can get treatment. I am not sure what it is. Its scaring me.
I can imagine how stressed you must feel. I had a similar situation a few months ago. The worst part was waiting to get a diagnosis. Once I knew what was wrong, I could deal with it. If you haven't, go get that bloodwork done! I think following doctors orders is going to help you feel much more in control and maybe not so anxious. It could just be Croup is what it’s called. It’s not to serious, easy to treat with a steroid, and a cough syrup if the cough is dry. Something like Predisone 20mg, and Tussinex would help. I would ask your doctor to prescribe these for you. Hope you feel better!
