They do exist. It might depend on where you live. I’m in Canada and my previous therapist would do phone sessions with me. If you can do Skype then location doesn’t really matter. If you google “therapy by phone” you’ll see lots of results. I can’t speak to the quality of the therapists but they do exist.

If you can afford it find a therapist close by that you can see. Find out if there are any support groups in your area, they are generally free. I wish you well, sending love n hugs.......Sprinkle 1.......xx

Sunandrose87, I'm not an official therapist but, I have helped quite a few people on this site. I am a good listener and very insightful. You can pm me whenever you need to. I have basically heard and seen it all.....

If you have insurance, call them or go to their website and see if there's anything about chatting with a therapist over the phone. I've actually done that in the past and I know someone who does therapy via Skype. She actually found her therapist by Googling video therapy or something similar. You should be able to find someone at any hour of the day or night. Good luck!

If you’re in dire need of someone to talk to, look at a crisis line if you’re out of options. You don’t need to be suicidal, but understand that people who are will be trying to reach someone as well.

I’ve used it when I wasn’t functioning after medication side effects hit, and they are wonderful with getting you through the moment, so you can go on with your day. It isn’t a replacement for a good therapy regimen coupled with medication (if that’s what is needed).

I hope this helps, and gets you to the support you need. Be well.
